Living successfully in the college houses requires students to balance individual freedom with a sensitivity to and respect for the rights of others. The 41 houses and complexes range in style from modern to Gothic to classic revival. Each housing option has a sense of community at its core.
3 de oct. de 2023 · Smith College has 41 unique, self-governing house communities where students of all four class years live and learn. Hopkins House is one of them, located on the east side of campus near the library and the art museum.
Smith College has many different houses serving as dormitories. Each house is self-governing. While many students remain in the same house for the entirety of their four years at Smith, they are not obligated to do so and may move to different houses on campus as space allows.
