Beerseba (en hebreo: באר שבע Be'er Sheva ⓘ, ‘Pozo de los Siete’; en árabe: بئر السبع Bi'r as-Sab; en griego: Βηρσαβεε; en latín: Bersabee) es una ciudad del sur de Israel, ubicada a 108 kilómetros al sur de Tel Aviv.
After being taken by Israeli troops in October 1948, Beersheba was rapidly settled by new immigrants and has since developed as the administrative, cultural, and industrial centre of the Negev. It is one of the largest cities in Israel outside of metropolitan Tel Aviv , Jerusalem , and Haifa .
