Hilla o Al-Ḥilla (en árabe: الحلة ) es una ciudad ubicada en el centro de Irak, sobre el río Éufrates, a 100 km al sur de Bagdad. Cuenta con una población estimada de 364.700 personas en 1998. Al-Ḥillah, city, capital of Bābil muḥāfaẓah (governorate), central Iraq. It lies on the Al-Ḥillah Stream, the eastern branch of the Euphrates River, and on a road and a rail line running northward to Baghdad. The city was founded in the 10th century as Al-Jāmiʿayn (“Two Mosques”) on the east bank.

However, you should stay overnight in Hillah if you also want to see other things near Babylon, like Borsippa, the tomb of Ezekiel in Al-Kifl, or the tomb of Ibrahim.
