During a training match, as what happens usually, the big center back went forward to try and get his head on the ball and grab a goal.

Clough's teams were known for playing a shorter passing, very structured style of play, with each player expected to do their job and do it well. Brtian Clough also tended to ensure his players did not resort to underhanded tactics.

Was going to post this on the turning point thread but it is the first video i have ever seen of the actual Harker/Clough collision on Boxing day 62..didnt even know there was a TV camera there that day....plus he talks about Stokoe's comments as he was writhing on the ground. 20 de sept. de 2004 · Brian Clough’s former clubs have paid tribute to the footballing legend following his death this morning. Mick McCarthy said, “It’s very sad news. Cloughy was a great football man and a fantastic character. He wasn’t just a great manager, his playing record was tremendous. He’ll be a sad loss to the game.”
20 de sept. de 2004 · Striker. Sep 20, 2004. #6. RIP Brian Clough. Legend in his own right. Amazing Player, Even More Amazing Manager. Shame that his playing days often went overlooked, especially after his career was cruelly ended, but no one can question his managerial skills.
21 de mar. de 2024 · Prime example was when he went into Leeds & tried to tell their players to do things differently. 44 days and bye bye Brian. It would have been nice to find out though, same as with the SAFC job. He operated best where he could so things his own way & everthing was in place for him at Forest at that time.

My original Clough tactics are probably my favorite of all the tactics i made but they were very marmite, you either loved them (which many did) or you hated them (which a few did).
