James Gresham Barrett (born February 14, 1961) is an American politician who served as the U.S. representative for South Carolina's 3rd congressional district from 2003 to 2011. A member of the Republican Party, he was a candidate for its nomination for Governor of South Carolina in the 2010 election.
Gresham Barrett currently serves as the Special Advisor to the Executive Director at the World Food Programme. Born in Oconee County, SC, Gresham graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, SC before serving in the United States Army from 1983-1987.
