The Roaring, also known as the Dark Truth, is a part of the Legend of Delta Rune. It is explained by Ralsei at the end of the normal route of Chapter 2 to Queen, Kris, Susie, Berdly and Noelle, who are about to create more Dark Fountains, allowing them to live forever in the Dark World with all of their friends.

A Detail of the Prophecy. Discussion. In the Prophecy cutscene, that's explained by either the game or Ralsei, it says something that could potentially hint at exactly what happens in the later chapters of the game, moreso than any theory yet. In the cutscene, there's a scene describing a terrible event.
Long story short: in Ralsei’s first scene (while still cloaked), he says: “And fulfill the ancient prophecy, as foretold by time and space.” NOT as foretold by a prophet...or a fortune teller/psychic....or even passed down through urban legend.
Ralsei is a Darkner and one of the deuteragonists (along with Susie) of Deltarune. He claims to be the "Prince from the Dark" mentioned in the Prophecy. Having weaker attack and less max health, and with the ability to cast healing spells, Ralsei acts as the party's healer.
The prophecy in Deltarune doesn't actually talk about stopping an angel, it says they must "banish Angel's Heaven" which sounds like its referring to a place or a thing.
