28 de ene. de 2011 · A valid rant, that's why people should avoid trainline.con and book direct with the relevent Train company; no booking fees, better customer services and you can get online discounts for tickets. Good luck with your complaint, hopefully trainline might send you some extra travel vouchers, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
13 de jul. de 2024 · Bought 3 Year Senior Railcard from Trainline in June 2023, through MSE offer and it vanished from the Trainline App by December 23. 7 months since first comlaining, Trainline can still not make my Railcard available for use through the App and refuse any refund.
25 de mar. de 2019 · This weekend my partner and I were supposed to take a trip to Winchester but unfortunately he had to be rushed to A&E due to a back injury so we were unable to make the trip. I livechatted with Trainline and they refused to give us any money back as they were advanced single tickets (non-refundable) that had already expired.
11 de may. de 2022 · Trainline are the retailer, not Thameslink - you need to take it up with the Trainline. Why anyone uses the Trainline is beyond me, given they slap on extra fees to tickets and it's not that railcards can't be bought online as there is an official website for them which is pretty user friendly.
21 de sept. de 2006 · My wife booked 4 railtickets from Newcastle to London using The Trainline. She is a novice internet user and used my daughters account with The Trainline. First Mistake. My daughter used her account to go back and fro to Keele Uni! She graduated this summer and left. The delivery address for daughters account was Keele.
31 de ago. de 2022 · I booked 2 journeys through Trainline both of which were disrupted by delay or lack of seating, in 1 case by 10.5 hours, and in both cases Trainline has said it is not responsible and referred me to the train operator. In both cases again the train operators have referred me back to Trainline. Catch 22!
27 de jun. de 2023 · To my horror I have been charged twice on the Trainline after I tried booking an off peak return that should have cost £91.80. But the page timed out and I had to start again. The timeout happens a lot because I am dyslexic and can;t rush but I have never been charged twice before.
13 de jul. de 2022 · An off-peak return isn't quota-controlled (so it won't sell out) and will be the same price at the station as on Trainline. If you buy from Trainline in advance of the day of travel they will charge you a booking fee.
27 de mar. de 2019 · The trainline website states under the refunds section; REFUNDS If you decide not to use your ticket to make all or part of your intended journey then you can apply for a refund from the My Account pages, or through Customer Support within 28 days of expiry of the ticket.
