Dax has been a part of many projects since then, including Agents of Oblivion and Deadboy & the Elephantmen.

Brooding guitars give way to Riggs’ soulful crooning on the Soundgarden-esque “Night Is the Notion.” “Radiation Blues” is a post-apocalyptic rocker with a slow, churning blues verse that picks up speed during a distorted guitar-filled chorus.

From the swamps of southern Louisiana comes the apocalyptic folk rock of Dax Riggs: starting with the teenage death metal of Acidbath on through the gothic dixie-fried trash rock of deadboy and the Elephantmen, Dax has opened for artists as diverse as Queens of the Stone Age to Leon Russell.
