24 de mar. de 2019 · Goodison Park suffered quite badly during the Second World War, because of its proximity to Liverpool's docks, and the Club received £5,000 for repairs from the War Damage Commission. Shortly after the work was completed, Everton enjoyed their highest ever attendance, 78,299 for the visit of Liverpool in Division One, on 18 September 1948.
