In this world, Asriel was never killed because Chara is off somewhere else, presumably living a different life than the one she lived in Undertale, which caused her to attempt suicide (leading to her discovery of the monsters under Mt. Ebbot).
DarkLordWiggles. • 2 yr. ago. I guess I can give my two main reasons why I don’t think Alvin is the Knight. The first is that he has little connection to the characters, so there wouldn’t be much emotional tension behind him being the Knight. The second is that if he is the Knight, his motivations don’t quite make sense.
Soon, riots began to emerge. The KING OF SPADE’s guards quickly suppressed them, but eventually it erupted into a full blown rebellion, lead by PRINCE LANCER. Meanwhile, the HEROES reached Card Castle and confronted the KING OF SPADES. It was a ferocious fight, but with the help of the rebels, the KING OF SPADES was overthrown and locked away.

Gerson is the one that reveals the Delta Rune in Undertale. Alvin is also the priest of the church in Hometown. I have my own theories on what the Dark World is.

The Delta Rune on the mat in Kris's room in Castle Town. The Delta Rune is a symbol that appears in both Undertale and Deltarune.. In Undertale, Gerson tells the protagonist about a prophecy and how it relates to the Delta Rune symbol. Gerson states that the triangles represent the monsters below, while it is believed that the winged circle represents the Angel from the prophecy.
So in Undertale when you talk to Gerson Boom (the old turtle) he tells you about the legend of the Deltarune. He says that the legend predates written history, but they know that the triangles represent the monsters and the winged figure is the angel that will set all the monsters free.
