  1. John Greig MBE (11 de setembre de 1942) fou un futbolista escocès de la dècada de 1960. Fou internacional amb la selecció d'Escòcia i amb la selecció de la lliga escocesa. Pel que fa a clubs, defensà els colors de Rangers, on fou escollit com el més gran Ranger de sempre en una enquesta el 1999 per seguidors del club.

  6. 27 de oct. de 2011 · Edinburgh-born John Greig played a total of 877 games for Rangers - 755 competitive - between 1961 and 1978 and scored 120 goals. He won five league titles, six Scottish Cups, four League Cups and the European Cup Winners` Cup in 1972. He was captain of Rangers when they beat Moscow Dynamo in the final in Barcelona. He also won 44 Scotland caps.

Although born in Edinburgh and brought up a Hearts fan, Greig would devote his entire senior career to the Ibrox side, making an astonishing 755 official appearances for the club between 1961 and 1978.
