A lot of times early on, before a movie is cast, we do the voices. I wouldn't be doing Raya, but I did Benja while other folks on the crew would do Raya or whatever.
Don Hall (filmmaker) Donald Lee Hall (born March 8, 1969) is an American film director, voice actor and screenwriter at Walt Disney Animation Studios. He is known for co-directing Winnie the Pooh (2011), Big Hero 6 (2014), [1] Moana (2016), and Raya and the Last Dragon (2021). Big Hero 6 won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2015.
Don Hall is very lucky to have him on their staff, and I’m very glad I found my way to him on that very first day I walked into the showroom. Also my thanks and compliments to the detail guy who prepped my new van. It was immaculate! Spotless inside and out, tires blacked, and perfect, and a full tank of gas as well!
