The Hutchins Middle School participates in a number of inter-House sport carnivals throughout the year. Students enjoy a day of fun, House spirit and competition as part of the Inter House Cup. For summer sports and winter sports days there are a wide range of sports on offer at various locations around Hobart.
Publications. Throughout the year, Hutchins releases various publications to the School community. The publications range from our school newsletters to our annual magazine. The links below will take you to the current editions, as well as a selection of previous editions and archives.

Congratulations to Year 11 student Jagga Pybus who competed at the Tasmanian Open/Masters state championships and won the open 100m sprint, with a personal best (under 11 seconds) making it his first Tasmanian title. Jagga also was part of the winning Sandy Bay Harriers 4x100m team, which makes it his second win in the event.
