Lolo Soetoro Mangunharjo or Mangundikardjo was an Indonesian geologist who is best known as the stepfather of Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States. He was a colonel in the Indonesian army and later worked in government relations at Union Oil Company. Two decades after his death, he made news headlines after Obama decided to run for presidency.

Más tarde, en 1980, Lolo Soetoro se casó con Erna Kustina y tuvo dos hijos con ella: un hijo llamado Yusuf Aji Soetoro y una hija llamada Rahayu Nurmaida Soetoro. Lolo Soetoro murió de una enfermedad hepática el 2 de marzo de 1987, a la edad de 52 años, y fue enterrado en el cementerio Tanah Kusir, en el sur de Yakarta.
