Kettle’s Yard, part of the University of Cambridge, is a leading gallery and unique house with a remarkable collection of 20th-century art. Its founders Jim and Helen Ede believed in art’s ability to transform lives, a vision upheld today through critically acclaimed exhibitions, pioneering community and learning programmes, and research of the highest quality.
Kettle’s Yard was the home of Jim and Helen Ede from 1957 to 1973. It contains their diverse collection of art, ceramics, textiles, furniture and natural objects. Jim Ede often described himself as a ‘friend of artists’, and much of his collection was acquired through these friendships.

Megan Rooney’s (b. 1985, South Africa) first major solo exhibition in the UK will comprise all new paintings. In one of the gallery spaces at Kettle’s Yard she will paint a temporary mural directly onto the walls, and in the other, she will present new works. 22 June – 6 October 2024, 11am – 5pm. Book Now. oct de 2023 • Familia. Visité Kettle's Yard en octubre en un día lluvioso. Fue muy agradable salir de la lluvia para disfrutar del arte de una manera realmente inusual. Kettle's Yard no parece una galería de arte tradicional, ya que muestra todos los diferentes tipos de arte en toda la casa. Es más una experiencia.
