Because his family was poor, with nine children, he quit school at 14 to play guitar and violin in a band in a local Chinese restaurant. The disc is probably one of the best of it's kind. The last track has muddy sound probably a defect in the mastering. Otherwise,but it quickly if you enjoy 20's style Jazz. Thanks Amazon.
