David Hollander (born 16 May 1968) is an American TV writer and producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is most notably known as the creator, screenwriter, and an executive producer of The Guardian, a Pittsburgh-based legal drama which aired on CBS.
David Hollander was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended Mount Lebanon High School and Sewickley Academy before going to Northwestern University. He began his career as a playwright before turning his attention to film and television.
