On November 9, 2014, band member Jonathan Athon died due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. He was placed in a medically induced coma and, per his wishes, was pulled from life support after it was determined that he had irreparable brain damage.

10 de nov. de 2014 · Black Tusk bassist Jonathan Athon has died after a motorbike crash, the band have confirmed. He was 32. He and his girlfriend were involved in a collision in their home town of Savannah, Georgia, on Saturday. He was taken to intensive care, where doctors discovered he’d suffered severe brain damage. His life support was switched off last night.
