12 de oct. de 2015 · Formerly known as Smoosh, Asy and Chloe Saavedra of Chaos Chaos have always been a sister-sister duo. In the first incarnation of the band, the two—Asy on vocals and keys, Chloe on drums—began playing in their tweens (alongside bands like Death Cab for Cutie) in their native Seattle.
Previously known as Smoosh, sisters Asy and Chloe Saavedra adopted Chaos Chaos as a new name for the band inspired by “an ever-changing amoeba” because, in her words, “we felt it represented our music path and history”.
Chloe Saavedra is a drummer, producer and songwriter from Seattle, Washington, now based in Los Angeles, California. Chloe is one half of her and her sister's band Chaos Chaos, has been a guest drummer on Late Night with Seth Meyers and has played drums for Caroline Polachek, Conan Gray, Kacy Hill, and Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth.
