The School of Engineering of Juiz de Fora (Portuguese: Escola de Engenharia de Juiz de Fora) was an engineering college in the city of Juiz de Fora, Brazil. It is now the engineering faculty of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF).
History. The Postgraduate Programme in Civil Engineering (PEC) of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) was created in 2016, and started its Master Course (Master of Science – MSc degree) in 2017 and its PhD Course (Doctor of Science – DSc degree) in 2024.
History. UFJF was established in 1960 by an act of Brazilian President Juscelino Kubitschek.At that time, colleges functioning in the city of Juiz de Fora were officially integrated by the government to constitute a university. In the earlier years, the courses offered were Medicine, Engineering, Economic Science, Law, Pharmacy and Dentistry.
