Baseball Drills for Kids: 5 Years, 6 Years, 7 and 8 Years Old. Below I have listed a number of drills you can start to use with your 5-7 year old players. I’ve categorized them by ‘suitability’ for each age group: We start off with the youngest age at 5 years old. Here’s things are very basic, but set up is everything.
Step #1: Pick age group you’re training – we start at 9 and progressively increase the difficulty to age 12. Step #2: Pick 1-3 drills depending on the length of your training, and make 1-3 progressions for each one. Step #3: Screenshot or make notes and head to practice – you’re ready to get going!
