Laney College is a public community college in Oakland, California. Laney is the largest of the four colleges of the Peralta Community College District which serves northern Alameda County. Laney College is named after Joseph Clarence Laney.
Enroll in Classes. Once you have completed Orientation, Academic & Career Interest, and have created a Student Educational Plan, you are ready to enroll in your classes. First-time college students must complete the Orientation in order to receive an enrollment date and enroll in classes.

Laney College offers Associate in Arts (AA) and Associate in Science (AS) degrees. Requirements for graduation with an Associate Degree are prescribed by the California Community College System and the Board of Trustees of the Peralta Community College District .
