17 de ago. de 2022 · Guitarist Ray Majors has passed away together with his partner Sandy Dillon. Ray played guitar with Hackensack before playing with MOTT from 1975 to 1976 and British Lions from 1977 to 1978. My thoughts are with Ray's and Sandy's families at this difficult time. 10th August 2022.
The new line-up consisted of Watts, Griffin, and Fisher along with lead guitarist Ray Majors (formerly of Opal Butterfly, Hackensack, and a brief stint with Andy Fraser and Frankie Miller) and front man Nigel Benjamin.

16 de sept. de 2022 · Born on July 16, 1949, Ray played guitar first with Opal Butterf ly and then Hackensack, Mott and that band’s spin-off British Lions, and the Yardbirds associated group Box Of Frogs. He toured with John Coghlan’s Diesel Band and played on that band’s only album, Partners In Crime.
Ray Majors is the lead vocalist on "Outside Woman Blues", "How Blue", "Framed", "Lawyers, Guns & Money" and "I Go Crazy". Ray Majors toured with Jim McCarty (ex-Yardbirds) for two years in the early 90s. The band consisted of Jim and Ray plus John Idan and ex-Strawbs Rod Demic.
