British 1928 – 2011. Breon O’Casey was a true polymath. Possibly unique in terms of his mastery of so many media across a single career, he was a painter, printmaker, weaver, sculptor and jewellery-maker. It is hard to think of any other contemporary artist and maker whose talents were so diverse.
Breon O’Casey (1928-2011) was an artist and sculptor who immersed himself fully in the vibrant arts scene in St Ives in the middle of the 20 th Century. He was as dedicated to his craft as to his adopted home of Cornwall.
