You can see from his cosmic notes below that numerology was now all the rage, but let's just say that Lamont would probably not have been Obama's next pick for Commerce Secretary, and get into the music .
The album Nine came out 2 years later and as those same keys and a funky band playing along with him (Ronnie Laws, Ndugu, Chuck Rainey, and Blue Mitchell), but this time Lamont has come with a philosophy that he wants his fans to listen to.
Biography. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, United States, Laws is the fifth of eight children. He started playing the saxophone at the age of 11.. He attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, for two years.. In 1971, Laws journeyed to Los Angeles, California to embark upon a musical career.He started off by performing with trumpeter Hugh Masekela.
