Steve J. Langdon (born 1948) is an American anthropologist noted for his work with the Tlingit people of southeastern Alaska. He received his Ph.D. in anthropology from Stanford University in 1977. He has taught anthropology at the University of Alaska Anchorage since 1976.

21 de may. de 2014 · The outgoing chair of the Department of Anthropology has racked up a few in his 38 years at UAA and more than four decades of anthropological research in Alaska. Along with five faculty colleagues across UAA, Steve was granted professor emeritus status at commencement. That's code for "not really retired."
