25 de abr. de 2000 · The band’s 1985 debut album Seventh Dream of Teenage Heaven was an unashamedly psychedelic adventure, far removed from the dark, angular soundscapes of Bauhaus. Yet they had to fight hard to avoid being branded ‘goth’, citing Syd Barrett, Marc Bolan and the later period Beatles as primary influences.
Seventh Dream Of Teenage Heaven is the debut album from Love And Rockets, recorded at Woodbine Studios in 1985. The basic tracks were recorded onto 2" analogue multi-track tapes and mixed digitally onto F1 tape.
