Ramzi. Ateyeh. Weedeater, Buzzoven United States. I started playing drums at the age of 13. A friend in my neighborhood played guitar and suggested I get a drum set. That’s when it all began. By the age of 15, I was playing in shows in my region on the weekends.
The current Weedeater drummer, at least for the 2019 scheduled tour dates, is Ramzi Ateya, formerly of Betrayer, CWIC, Notch, and Buzzoven. Ramzi grew up with Dixie and Shep and was bandmates with Dixie in Buzzoven for the recording of the At a Loss album and subsequent tour.
