SANDY FICCA: Watching Ringo play with the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show was all the inspiration Sandy needed to passionately pursue playing drums (say that 3 Times fast). His dream finally came true a few years later when his mom went behind his dads back and bought him a drumset. The next day he was in a band and has never looked back.
In 1984, Florida native, drummer SANDY FICCA joined into the group. The big guy immediately added new strength and power to songs like ‘You Are The Woman,’ ‘Strange Way’ and all of Firefall’s other ‘lighter’ hits.
By late 2014, Firefall's lineup was Jock Bartley, David Muse, Sandy Ficca, Mark Andes, and Gary Jones. On January 9, 2015, Firefall was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame with Poco , Nitty Gritty Dirt Band , Stephen Stills , and Manassas , at the Paramount Theater in Denver.
