Created as a sister soap for The Young and the Restless by that show’s co-creators, the late William J. and Lee Phillip Bell, The Bold and the Beautiful debuted on March 23, 1987.
It is the youngest airing daytime soap opera in the United States, celebrating its thirtieth anniversary on March 23, 2017. [4] The serial aired its 9,000th episode on April 18, 2023. [1] Currently, the series has been renewed by CBS to run through the 2024–2025 television season.
