Days of the New was an American rock band from Charlestown, Indiana, formed in 1995. The band later relocated to Louisville, Kentucky. They consisted of vocalist/guitarist Travis Meeks and a variety of supporting musicians.

Originally a metal trio named Dead Reckoning, the band changed their sound to acoustic rock, added another member and renamed themselves Days Of The New.
Days of the New is a post-grunge band led by singer/guitarist Travis Meeks, who has a vocal style similar to Alice in Chains and Jim Morrison. The band released three self-titled albums from 1997 to 2001, and had a hit single "Touch, Peel and Stand".
