Southwestern Law School is a private law school in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It is accredited by the American Bar Association and enrolls nearly 1,000 students. Its campus includes the Bullocks Wilshire building, an art deco National Register of Historic Places landmark built in 1929.
Southwestern is the only American Bar Association-approved law school offering five programs of study leading to a J.D. degree. Each program differs in scheduling and instructional approach, thereby accommodating students’ varying schedules and learning styles.

Credits: 2. Instructor (s): Julia Vázquez. Spanish for Lawyers reinforces and enhances students existing Spanish communication skills for legal practice. Class instruction, course readings, and assignments are primarily in Spanish. Students are expected to have a working level of Spanish language fluency (written and oral) to enroll in the course.
Applications for the first-year entering class are accepted for the Fall semester only. Every applicant must register with the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) which will provide Southwestern with the applicant’s Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) scores and a summary of all undergraduate academic work.
