Purbrook Park School is a comprehensive co-educational secondary school situated in Purbrook, north of Portsmouth, Hampshire. The school has an enrollment number of 840 pupils, aged 11 through to 16. It became a trust school in April 2009.
In 1924, our school opened as ‘Purbrook Park County High School’. The school quickly became very popular and well respected, and an extensive building programme began. Our original school hall was built in 1928, and our first school gymnasium in 1935.

The school is aspirational, inclusive and well-led, with positive relationships and behaviour. It needs to improve its curriculum design and reading strategy to enable pupils to think more deeply and broaden their vocabulary.
