29 de oct. de 2020 · Proper were Ned Murphy, Scott Carney, Lee Watson and Leon Caffrey. They were signed to Chrysalis and released one single ‘Catch Me A Star’ in 1996. Proper toured extensively in the UK and recorded one unreleased album with producer Hugh Jones (Icicle Works, Echo and the Bunnymen, Dodgy, The Bluetones) at Rockfield Studios in Wales.
7 de nov. de 2019 · With Parle bowing out, Space recruited multi-instrumentalist Yorkie, and drummer Leon Caffrey to record their follow up. Tin Planet became another sizable hit, with its first two singles threatening the higher reaches of the charts.
Highly successful during the late 90s. At their very peak in 1997 their original drummer, Andy Parle, left the band wanting to commit to a more "cultish" act. Leon Caffrey stepped into the stool as his replacement. Mysteriously the band were shunned by a nervous record company who delayed their third album, and eventually shelved it completely.
