With a long line-up of painting, jewelry, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, pottery classes, and beyond, the Cultural Arts Center offers a vast array of options for both beginning and experienced artists. Classes are available in sessions of 7-8 weeks.
Carefully tailored to the needs of students in first grade through eighth grade, and administered by local artists in partnership with our professional staff, our scientifically based arts education curriculum provides hands-on opportunities to explore dance, visual arts, theatre, music, and more.
Wonder School is a laboratory preschool collaboration with Columbus State Community College, Columbus Museum of Art, and The Childhood League Center. Wonder School fosters curiosity and discovery in an arts-rich, child-centered, responsive learning ecosystem for young children and the next generation of early childhood educators.
Welcome to the Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center! Part of the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, we offer art classes, workshops, exhibitions, gifts and a variety of event and meeting spaces available for rentals.
About. The Columbus Performing Arts Center is a 21,000-square-foot space dedicated to the arts. It is home to two performance spaces, the Van Fleet Theatre and the Shedd Stage, and the Golden Hobby Gift Shop.
