John Michael Dexter "Dex" Romweber (June 18, 1966 – February 16, 2024) was an American rockabilly and roots rock musician (primarily playing electric guitar) from Carrboro, North Carolina. Dex was best known as one-half of the seminal two-piece Flat Duo Jets. He fronted the Dex Romweber Duo with his older sister Sara Romweber.
The “Celebrating Dexter” memorial event on Sunday, April 7, 2024 is at capacity. The event will be shown on a screen outside the Ballroom for any who want to come to Saxapahaw. And, it will be live streamed on Facebook and YouTube. The program begins at 2:30pm.
