Recruiting drummer Bob Bereman, singer/guitarist Dave Hodgkins and bassist Bill Kirkham, under the name Redeye the quartet was signed by Steve Douglas' Pentagram label. They made their debut with 1970's "Redeye".
Redeye was an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States. The group released two albums on Pentagram Records in the early 1970s, and had two hit singles in 1971, "Games" ( U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart number 27) and "Redeye Blues" (U.S. number 78). [1]
17 de sept. de 2021 · In 1970, Redeye – which also included rhythm guitarist/vocalist Dave Hodgkins, bassist/vocalist Bill Kirkham and drummer Bob Bereman – secured a contract with the Pentagram label. By the end of the year, the band notched a No. 27 nationwide hit single with “Games” that also appeared on Redeye’s self-titled debut album.
