Marcela Alejandra Bovio García (born October 17, 1979) is a Mexican singer and violinist who is currently a member of the Dutch symphonic death metal band MaYaN. In 1995, she joined Hydra, a Mexican metal band, singing and playing violin.
Marcela Bovio is a Mexican musician who has worked in metal and progressive rock bands such as Stream of Passion, Ayreon and The Gathering. On her solo projects, she explores a more atmospheric and dreamy side of music, and shares her personal stories of heartbreak and loneliness.
