About Us. Fortes in Unitate. Chaminade High School has been serving the Long Island community since its founding in 1930. The school is owned and operated by the Society of Mary, the Marianists, and is named after Blessed William Joseph Chaminade.
Admissions. Chaminade High School, a Roman Catholic boys school, was founded to serve the Catholics of our area and has done so for nearly one century. Therefore, priority enrollment is given to young men who are baptized Roman Catholic and - when enrollment permits - practicing non-Catholic Christians.
