In The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe he played General Otmin, general of the White Witch's army, and the centaur that blows a horn as the Pevensie children enter Aslan's camp.

Shane Rangi is a motion capture and stunt performer for Weta Digital, known for The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings. He also writes and directs his own feature film Taonga, and won the Wairoa Māori Film Festival for his short Die Like a Shark.
