He is best known for starring in the films C'est la vie, mon chéri (1993), My Name Is Fame (2006), Mad Detective (2007), Overheard film series (2009–2014), and Life Without Principle (2011).

A native of Sanshui, Guangdong, he joined the Artists Training Course of TVB in 1983 and began acting in TV dramas by year after. His role of Fit-Lo in TV series "Police Cadet" which granted him widely accepted by the audiences. He made his screen debut with "Silent Love" in 1986.
