Mitsuo Tsukahara (en japonès: 塚原 光男 ( Tokio, Japón 1947) es un antiguo gimnasta artístico japonès, ganador de nueve medallas olímpicas, cinco de ellas de oro, entre los juegos olímpicos de México, Múnich y Montreal.
Mitsuo Tsukahara (塚原 光男 Tsukahara Mitsuo, born December 22, 1947) is a Japanese artistic gymnast. He was five times an Olympic Gold Medalist. He remained active in the sport after his retirement from competition. He served as vice president of the Japan Gymnastic Association.

He also won three consecutive gold medals with the team at the World Championships (1970, 1974, and 1978), adding another gold in horse vault and silver in all-around and rings in 1970.
