Peter Louis Pihos (/ p iː h oʊ s /; October 22, 1923 – August 16, 2011) was an American football player and coach. Pihos played college football as an end and fullback for the Indiana Hoosiers from 1942 to 1943 and 1945 to 1946. He was selected as a first-team All-American in 1942, 1943 and 1945.
In 1948, the Eagles defeated the Chicago Cardinals 7-0. One year later, Pihos caught a 31-yard touchdown pass in the Eagles 14-0 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Although Pihos lacked great speed, he was a consistently outstanding pass receiver with sure hands, clever moves, and courage.

Pihos led Indiana in pass receiving in 1942-43, in rushing in 1946, and in scoring in 1945-46. He was the team's Most Valuable player in 1946. Pihos played with the Philadelphia Eagles at end from 1947-55 and led the National Football League in pass receiving three times.
