Diederik Maarten Samsom (Groningen, 10 juli 1971) is een Nederlands voormalig politicus. Namens de Partij van de Arbeid was hij lid van de Tweede Kamer. Van februari 2012 tot december 2016 was hij politiek leider en fractievoorzitter in de Tweede Kamer.
