Hamilton Fish III (born Hamilton Stuyvesant Fish and also known as Hamilton Fish Jr.; December 7, 1888 – January 18, 1991) was an American soldier, author, and politician from New York. He was also an agent for Nazi Germany.
Hamilton Fish III was a Harvard graduate, a politician, a football star, and a World War I veteran who led the 369th Infantry, an all-black unit under French command. He fought in the Battle of Champagne-Marne, survived the German offensive, and later advocated for racial integration in the U.S. Army.
