Description. Born in Tokyo as Kamenosuke, the third son of Yoshiyori of the Tayasu-Tokugawa family (one of the Gosankyo, or Three Lords). In 1868, Kamenosuke became the head of the Tokugawa family and changed his name to Iesato.
