The title Do Not Adjust Your Set came from the standard fault card screened during TV breakdowns and faulty transmissions – still a common sight in the late 1960s. Do Not Adjust Your Set won first prize in the 12-15 years category at the Prix Jeunesse International Television Festival in Munich in June 1968.
