Giacinto Facchetti (Treviglio, 18 de julio de 1942-Milán, 4 de septiembre de 2006) fue un jugador de fútbol italiano, y posteriormente presidente del Inter de Milán, cargo que desempeñaba en el momento de su muerte. Está considerado como uno de los mejores laterales de la historia.
Giacinto Facchetti (Italian pronunciation: [dʒaˈtʃinto fakˈketti]; 18 July 1942 [citation needed] – 4 September 2006) was an Italian footballer who played as a left-back for Inter Milan from 1960 to 1978. He later served as Inter chairman from January 2004 until his death in 2006.
Facchetti rappresentò l'Inter fino al 1978 vincendo la Coppa dei Campioni nel 1964 e nel 1965 e il campionato italiano nel 1963, 1965, 1966 e 1971. Con la squadra nerazzurra vinse anche due Coppe Intercontinentali ed una Coppa Italia.
Nationality. ITA. Giacinto Facchetti has been inducted into the FC Internazionale Milano Hall of Fame. After Walter Zenga, Javier Zanetti, Lothar Matthäus and Ronaldo were the first four names to enter in 2018, Facchetti now joins alongside Francesco Toldo, Dejan Stankovic and Giuseppe Meazza.
