Georges Leekens ( Meeuwen, 18 mei 1949) is een voormalig Belgisch voetbaltrainer en voetballer die jarenlang voor Club Brugge speelde als centrale verdediger. De bijnaam van Leekens luidde " Mack The Knife " omwille van zijn vlijmscherpe tackles. [1] In 2020 zette hij een punt achter zijn trainerscarrière.

During his managerial career, he was in charge of four national teams: the Belgian, Tunisian, Algerian and Hungarian national football teams. He also managed numerous clubs in Belgium, the Netherlands, Turkey, Tunisia, Iran and Saudi Arabia.
