El quinto trabajazo de los americanos Skeletonwitch, "Serpents Unleashed", vende lo mismito que todos los anteriores (velocidad al límite, toque Black, rifferío Thrash, ocultismo de cómic y alaridos de ultratumba)... pero lo vende con el mismo encanto y descaro de siempre.

27 de oct. de 2013 · But because the music on Serpents Unleashed is so damn good, Baizley-style album cover art might just take off in the realm of blackened thrash and eventually become a “suitable” visualization of that sub-genre. Moving on, Serpents Unleashed is Skeletonwitch ’s fifth full-length album and possibly the best re-thrash metal album of 2013.
Serpents Unleashed may very well be the best album Skeletonwitch has produced up to now. They got rid of every slow or boring moment from the past album, but kept everything that made it good, from the incredibly tight musicianship to the catchy songwriting that they had improved upon last time.
